- supporting different payment options so that customers can choose how they want to pay without feeling pressured into one option because there are no other alternatives offered
- make the shopping experience more enjoyable for customers through changes in design.
In order to provide excellent customer service, for instance, store employees should be knowledgeable about the products they're selling and able to answer any questions that a customer may have before purchasing an item. The employee could also offer these helpful tips:
- a new product is often on sale so it's worth waiting until next week or month when it'll be at its lowest price; this will save you money even if you don't need to buy anything right now but want something in the future
- it might make sense to purchase from us because we have all of your favorite brands and styles whereas other stores only carry a selection of which means there are some things that won't suit your taste
